Oooo, I’d love to find a clean C4 (especially a ZR1) or eventually a C5/6 Z06. I’m also looking at 6.0 GTOs.

Not that I need or can afford another car, although these are the more practical of my next car thoughts.

Don’t overlook the 5.7 GTO. I’ve got one with the auto(I know, the price was right though) and it is a great car. Mine has the usual mods, headers, exhaust, K&N drop in, and a tune, and it’s easily as fast as my co-worker’s ‘05 6-speed.

I already have a 5.7 in my TA, I’d prefer the 6.0 to keep it different. I’m disappointed that the cosmos purple paint was discontinued for ‘05-06.

No, your car is a hunk of shit. The ‘98 V6 Mustang runs high 17s out of the box. The ‘98 V6 Firebird runs a 15.00 out of the box, which is only a quarter of a second off the ‘98 Mustang GT. Additionally, my car has T-tops, a factory 12 speaker sound system, pop-up headlights, a hatchback, and looks objectively better than the equivalent Mustang. No hard feelings though.

Yea, the 4th gen. F Body is finally starting to get a little respect and isn’t quite so much associated with rednecks and drag racing anymore, lol.

Mine’s a flood damage car that needed a new block, so I gutted the interior and then had to let it sit until I could get the new short block. I was considering restoring it, but I really don’t care if it has carpet or a radio or anything because it won’t be a daily, and at the same time, I don’t really have the money to sink in to it to make it a real race car, so I’ve settled on hoon-machine, lol.
